If you don’t already know, Cannabidiol, popularly called CBD is a naturally-occurring compound of the cannabis sativa plants (hemp and marijuana). It is the most abundant non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in cannabis. CBD oil is extracted from these plants in the pure isolate form or full spectrum.
Full spectrum CBD is processed from hemp and contains terpenes and other cannabinoids such as CBG, CBN, THCV and trace amounts of THC.
CBD oil with terpenes promises long-lasting relief from pain through a slow release of the compound as your food digests. Whether in its isolate or full spectrum form, CBD oil can be ingested as a possible remedy for many ailments.
- Chronic pain: you can take 2.5-20mg of CBD orally.
- Sleep Disorders: 40mg-160mg of CBD
- Epilepsy: 200-300mg of CBD (orally) daily.
- Uncomfortable movement due to Huntington’s disease: 10mg of CBD per kg of body weight daily for six weeks
- Multiple Sclerosis (MS) symptoms: CBD containing 2.5-120 milligrams of a THC/CBD combination daily for 2-15 weeks.

However, if you use full spectrum CBD oil depending on some factors – including quantity and frequency of use, it is possible that trace amounts of THC could be detected in a drug test.
