Constipation in dogs and cats may be helped by simply giving them Digestion Specialist, in their food.
You would not be here to day if you didn’t love your pet and want the best for him / her. Hopefully we can be of help to you.
Like humans if cats and dogs are constipated it is most likely related to diet. Don’t feel badly. You are not a bad owner, but more likely products of great advertising in the media. Two factors may be present. If they have a diet that is too high in iron but not naturally rich in calcium and magnesium then the stools become hard and immovable. Likewise, if the diet is full of dead food such as hard dry cat / dog food mixes or those who boast of high protein then the body will naturally run out of enzymes to breakdown the food as well as vitamins and minerals which are usable by their food.
What to do? First and foremost we would always encourage you to feed your animals in a way that is natural; packaged food is NOT! Include real vegetables and fruits in their diets. Live ones before the life is cooked out of them. YES, that is what I said; fruits and veggies.
Not ready for that? Well the other option is to put digestion specialist in their water or in their food. It is an easy supplement to take mixed in with food. It is NOT a laxative; it is NOT a combination of bulking herbs which push hard on the bowel walls and can cause problems if your animal has blockage in his / her colon.
Here is the application I recommend trying:
You can mix one dose of Digestion Specialist in a bowl of water and allow your pet to lap it through the day. There is no bulk and therefore it will not thicken. You may want to stir it once in a while to keep it mixed.
The other option is to simply mix the powder directly in to their food. You can break it down into portions through the day.
One thing to remember is that it took time for your animal to get constipated. That is why we suggest that you give your pet 1 dose to start on the first day and then the next day give more. We say 1 only on the first day because it may be enough to do the trick but if not then use it according to the signs of your own animal.
It is such a basic product. The right combination of enzymes is what everyone needs to turn food into liquid, which is then broken down further by the liver, and then into the blood stream for use. The problem is that we don’t get enough of what we need to accomplish this task. The REAL problem comes when time passes without out bodies getting what they need. This is why human disease has now become animal disease.
I hope you find this information useful. We are absolutely sure, both you and your pet will LOVE the Digestion Specialist.
Blessings to your health
